Yesterday was another milestone for my youngest son. He’s actually in Grade-1 already so that entitles him to take part of their school’s Annual Camping, a training for elementary and secondary students to become independent and responsible individuals. I know he was excited because he’s been wanting to go with his kuya since last 2 years ago and we explained to him that he can’t since he is still not in elementary yet.

Well now that he is, I almost forgot this Annual activity and just remembered when they gave me their permission slip for us parents to sign. I initially didn’t want him to sleep at school as he just had a fever that day, he in fact skipped school because of that fever Thursday night. He was already okay by noon but I was still worried. I so want him to experience the activity but worried as I am, I had second thoughts. One more thing is I can’t be at their school to look after him as they go through their activities since I had this commitment with my college family in celebrating the 44th bday of our tatay rem. Anyway, their bags were packed and I took them to their school around 3:30 in the afternoon. I saw how excited he was as he greeted his classmates and friends. I initially planned to just let him join the activities and fetch him at night before bedtime. His teacher told me I can fetch him around 10pm before their lights out.

A good marriage is one which allows for change and growth in the individuals and in the way they express their love.

Received this last night from my sweet hubby. I was busy surfing and chillaxing online when he arrived from work. He went straight to our room carrying a dozen of pink roses (my favorite color). I was so touched with his sweetness and thanked him for the beautiful roses. It’s been quite a while since he last gave me flowers and I just realized how much I missed it . He have been giving me gifts but just not flowers so I really appreciate the effort.

And oh! I asked him why? (not that it’s necessary to ask) . His reply was “nothing, I was just thinking aloud about you” …. that’s very sweet of him!! love you sweety!
