PostHeaderIcon Charice’s “Pyramid” Official Video

I have been waiting for this song to come out and finally here it is! I so love Charice’s voice and awesome talent! There’s no doubt she’s on her way to stardome :)

Pyramid

Shawty’s love is like a pyramid (ooh)
We stand together till the very end (eh ooh)
There’ll never be another love for sure (ooh)
Iyaz and Charice let we go

Stones, heavy like the love you’ve shown (shown)
Solid as the ground we’ve known (known)
And I just wanna carry on
We took it from the bottom up (no no no)
And even in a desert storm (yeah)
Sturdy as a rock we hold (oh)
Wishing every moment froze
Now I just wanna let you know
Earthquakes can’t shake us
Cyclones can’t break us
Hurricanes can’t take away our love

Pyramid, we built this on a solid rock
It feels just like it’s heaven’s touch
Together at the top (at the top baby), like a pyramid
And even when the wind is blowing
We’ll never fall just keep on going
Forever we will stay, like a pyramid

Like a pyramid like a pyramid eh (ooh)
Like a pyramid like a pyramid eh (ooh)
Like a pyramid like a pyramid eh eh (oooh)

Cold (cold), never ever when you’re close (close)
We will never let it fold (fold)
A story that was never told
Something like a mystery (yoh!)
And every step we took we’ve grown
Look how fast the time has flown
A journey to a place unknown
We’re going down in history
Earthquakes can’t shake us (oh)
Cyclones can’t break us (oh)
Hurricanes can’t take away our love

Pyramid, we built this on a solid rock (hey!)
It feels just like it’s heaven’s touch
Together at the top, (at the top baby) like a pyramid
And even when the wind is blowing (wind is blowing)
We’ll never fall just keep it going (keep it going)
Forever we will stay, like a pyramid (eh oh)

Like a pyramid girl let me show you
That I love you so much
That we gonna get through (oh oh)
Even when there’s storms
I will never go, Ima be the one to keep you safe (hey)
Before was our love back it up more than enough
Holding on to one another be the cover when it’s rough (oh oh)
Mother nature (hey) or disaster won’t stop at happy ever after

Pyramid, keep it going (like a pyramid, like a pyramid)
Oh oh ooooh (like a pyramid, like a pyramid)

Pyramid, we built this on a solid rock (solid rock)
It feels just like it’s heaven’s touch (oooh)
Together at the top (at the top baby, at the top girl), like a pyramid
And even when the wind is blowing
We’ll never fall just keep on going (keep it going)
Forever we will stay (Charice), like a pyramid (what what)

Pyramid, we built this on a solid rock
It feels just like it’s heaven’s touch
Together at the top (at the top baby, at the top girl), like a pyramid (pyramid)
And even when the wind is blowing
We’ll never fall just keep it going
Forever we will stay (ooh), like a pyramid

Like a pyramid like a pyramid eh
Like a pyramid like a pyramid eh
Like a pyramid like a pyramid eh eh

PostHeaderIcon Blackout and El Niño

blackoutIt’s been a week now since CEPALCO started implementing Rotating brownouts all over Cagayan de Oro City. The brownout usually lasts 4 to 5 hours. I thought first it is due to some maintenance on their end but as the frequency of the brownouts became more intense I started to wonder why as it became really annoying not being able to do a LOT of things with the electricity off. No electricity means, NO Internet, No Cable TV, NO Aircondition, NO Reading, worst is NO sound sleeping for those working in the Graveyard Shift and are scheduled to have brownouts during day time! Looks like I’m talking to a mirror! That’s quite a hassle. To some it means NO business. That’s how important having electricity to Urban places. I can’t blame most complaining consumers at times like this.

According to CEPALCO’s memo, the Rotating Brownouts is due to the continuing power supply curtailments imposed by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines [NGCP] all over Mindanao. NGCP has the crucial task of delivering safe and reliable electricity throughout the archipelago, a responsibility formerly held by the National Transmission Corporation or TransCo. They balances the demand and supply of electricity to efficiently serve all of its customers which include generators, private distribution utilities, electric cooperatives, government-owned utilities, ecozones, industries, and directly connected companies.

We all know that our Electricity here is generated by hydropower. So conserving of the energy left is very critical for us to survive the scarcity of water brought about by El Niño in relation to the change of climate (summer) – awfully hawt! So there you go! I can’t really complain as this dilemma boils down to us individually.

Just heard from the news that Mindanao has a lot of conserving to do for the coming El Niño! Let’s pray that there’s going to be rain so to get out from this misery! Looks like what we need now is the rain dance.

Let us all do our share in our own little ways! Conserve water as not everyone is enjoying the opportunity to have more of it. There are a number of ways to save water, and they all start with you.

Jara and LJ with the shrimps and the crabs – sooo ready to attack them! LoL!

We were craving for seafoods after endlessly talking about Panagatan at work! I can’t take away the picture of those huge crabs we shared way back last December when our Senior Manager treated his Team Captains with seafoods. So to get over with the cravings, we decided to have a feast and satisfy ourselves with these! We went to my place right after our night’s shift to have breakfast …that’s after dropping by the wet market to pick up those Crabs and Shrimp! the best! yum yum…
